National Museum of Indian Cinema

National Museum of Indian Cinema is a “must visit” for anyone visiting Mumbai or living in Mumbai. You don’t have to be a movie lover to enjoy this place. You’ll come across some of the interesting facts about Indian cinema. It showcases the evolution of Cinema in general, right from the Lumiere Brothers to the evolution of Indian Cinema, the expansion of it, evolution of Bollywood and Regional Cinema.

The museum is divided into the old heritage building which is of two stories and the new structure of 4 stories. New building consists of Bollywood music section, Children section, Gandhiji section, Animation and VFX section and a Mini theatre.
